This client needed a warm and cosy place for her elderly mother to move into. The idea was that she would be close enough to reach quickly in an emergency while maintaining her independance.
Being in the clients garden it needed to work with the existing layout of the grounds and compliment the existing building.
Working with the client we designed the room to share the view of the pond while not overlooking each other. This 1 bedroom annex has a large open living diner, fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom, built in wardrobe and walk in wet floor shower room.
Fully insulated to building regs, central heating powered by a worcester combi boiler which we tucked out of the way in the loft space, and high quilaity glazing means this room is toasty in the winter and stays cool under the summer sun.
